Great question! If you noticed, I’m pretty detail oriented and hate the idea of missing out on amazing things when traveling, so I’m pretty thorough. Here are some of the spots I will review when planning: 
1. Other travel blogs (Hand Luggage Only, The Blonde Abroad etc.). 

2. The Michelin Guide: restaurant recs, specifically the Bib Gourmand!

3. AmiGo App: a recommendations app. 

4. Raisin Natural Wine & Food: an app geared towards finding the best natural wine bars, restaurants and shops. I’ve had some incredible restaurant recommendations from this app. 

5. National Park Websites

We have Capital One Venture and Venture X cards. What I love about this card is the Purchase Eraser. If you find a deal on a different website or a better deal on flights you can make the purchase with your Capital One card and apply your miles to it, after the fact. You aren’t married to only shopping and booking in their portal.
